Bed Bugs > Feed on the blood of any warm-blooded animal. > Can ingest up to 7 times their weight. > Are able to live up to 18 months without a meal. > Cases that have a severe infestation can result in over 500 bites in a single night. > Eggs hatch within 2 weeks and only take 4 weeks to become fully grown. > Females can lay up to 500 eggs over their lifetime. > Can live inside without people even knowing they are there for several months. > Infestations are a traumatic experience for those attacked including increased stress, anxiety & insomnia.

Ticks > Are more closely related to spiders & scorpions than insects. > Feed on the blood of their host -- humans, birds, reptiles and wild and domestic mammals. > Infestations are more common in dogs than cats. > Never remove a tick with your bare hand. Instead, using tweezers, grasp the tick close to the skin and pull gently.

Fleas > Undisturbed and without a blood meal, can live more than 100 days.
